UIC is offering up to four two-year fellowships for the 2023-2025 cycle, one sponsored by Pfizer, two sponsored by Takeda, and one sponsored by AbbVie.

The UIC/Pfizer 2-year fellowship in Health Economic and Outcomes Research involves being located in Chicago at UIC for the first year where the fellow participates in research projects and completes coursework. In the second year, the fellow may be located at Pfizer headquarters in Manhattan, New York.

The UIC/Takeda 2-year fellowship in Health Economics and Outcomes Research involves being located in Chicago at UIC for the first year where the fellow participates in research projects and completes coursework. In the second year, fellows may be located at the Takeda headquarters in Cambridge, MA.

The UIC/AbbVie 2-year fellowship in Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety involves being located in Chicago at UIC (northern suburbs occasionally) for both years where the fellow participates in research projects and completes coursework. (NEW DEADLINE: November 14th)

For any of the programs, fellows may optionally apply to UIC’s Department of Pharmacy Systems Outcomes & Policy graduate program.
